dangerous city

One of my favourite bands, the Pepper Sands, played last night at the Media Club.



I first heard them at a Matt Good show about 4 years ago, and have been a fan of their music ever since. Their upbeat pop-rock riffs are infectious, as are their slow, melancholy numbers. It's amazing how many other great bands I've seen open for MG in the past, such as The Dears and Wil.

This was my 11th time seeing them. On this night, the set consisted of all new songs off their forthcoming album, Forest Strays.
