the new romance
Went to see Pretty Girls Make Graves at the Red Room last night. It was my first time there. It's usually used as a dance club and lounge rather than a live music venue. Pretty nice place.
The opening band was You Say Party! We Say Die! I'd heard some great things about this band recently so I was excited to see them. They put on a solid 30min set with some catchy riffs. All six members were energetic and you couldn't help but want to dance along to the music. They'll be headlining a show at Richard's on Tues Dec 13. Do yourself a favour and come check them out.
Seattle quintet Pretty Girls Make Graves played a rocking and upbeat set. Their performance consisted of some old songs and new ones from their soon to be released next album. I loved the bass tone being used during the performance. The set lasted 1hr 5mins with one encore.
