blinding lights

All ages shows are funny.

The Killers were playing at The Vogue last night. The majority of the crowd must have been 16 an under. It's funny to watch them scream in excitement and start crying when the feature band comes out on stage. This notion of celebrity to these fans seem overwhelming. The band must of made a fortune on merchandise sales as almost every kid was sporting their newly purchased Killers shirt and accessory.

The band was on for about an hour. With only one album worth of material to play, that was expected. They sounded tight throughout their performance. They also performed 2 new tracks. It would have been nice to hear them improvise a bit more in their songs, as they stayed pretty similar to the sound of the album.

After the show, it was interesting to hear the underage audience discuss how that was "the best concert ever", considering it was probably their first or second show.

I wish sometimes I was 16 again......No, no I don't.
